How are two schools giving more students access to excellent teachers, making better use of their resources, offering teachers higher pay and leadership opportunities, and increasing student achievement? By using blended and personalized learning! This session will help participants plan how to redesign schools or classes to teach more students, without sacrificing student achievement, and share the resources of Public Impact’s Opportunity Culture to continue their efforts after the session.

4 Practical Tips for Overcoming the Objections to a Blended Classroom
“Our kids spend enough time on computers!”, “It takes so much time to build my online courses”, “The teacher isn’t teaching anymore”, “Our school can’t afford this!”. These and many other objections abound as we start to tread into blended waters. 4 years into my blended classroom I have heard them all! In this session, I will give some practical tips on creating a blended classroom that addresses these objections head on. But I will also talk about the key purpose of blending your classroom which makes the whole process worth it.
